Macintouch has improved the contents of its reports…

Thursday, August 10, 2006   19:00 EDT: “We have now added Photoshop CS2 tests to our Mac Pro Preliminary Notes and Tests page, along with a Geekbench comparison between the Mac Pro, a dual-core G5 and a Dell 2.8GHz Pentium D (as well as Rosetta translation in the Mac Pro) and other benchmarks:

Cinebench, Xbench, file duplication, MPEG-4 export and power usage. The report also includes hands-on notes and tips.

Also updated: our Mac Pro reader report, which features details about memory, a performance test, a few experiences with the new computer, and other notes and commentary.
